Spyglass Falls is built on the sixty-seven acres originally owned and farmed by Bernard and Carolyn Klotz. They purchased the land in 1951 and lived there with their eight children until April of 1998 when it was purchased by Paul Rioux, Jr., owner of Platinum Properties. Bernard Klotz, eighty-eight, passed away in early November, 2005, leaving his beloved Carolyn who now lives with their daughter, Kathy, in Franklin, Indiana.
